There really needs to be an enquiry into their disastrous valuation practices . They have cost me over £2000 in legal fees so far . People who write reviews have ownership to edit or delete them at any time, and they’ll be displayed as long as an account is active. All the lodge internal sales photos & information are generic. Visit the lodge/site you are interested in & speak with other owners, be cheeky & knock on doors, most of us don't bite & will be honest with you.
My son rented a shared house via Countrywide's "Finder Keepers" brand for his second year at university. He dropped out and didn't actually stay in the property and yet they have retained 53% of his deposit for alleged damage. They also retained 45% on average of his co-tenants deposits. If you're plannng on holidaying in one of these and booking via Hoseasons, be aware that many lodge owners who are renting their lodge to you through the park are being desperately exploited by the park. The money you pay to holiday there will line the pockets of Mr Barney and his wife. Think very carefully before parting any money to this "company". I spent my life savings buying a brand new lodge on a residential park.
We spent £1500 on this experience, we would not recommend this place at all. We decided to look online and came across Countrywide Park Homes. Their website stated that they offered both residential park homes and luxury lodges, and that the residential ones were available with a part exchange option. They all looked really lovely so we arranged to go up to Dales View and have a look.

They had a very smooth application and approval process and our years with them were very uneventful. They had good customer service, and their online system was very to use. We made our payments through their website and always had a good result. We never had any issues with unexpected fees and they were easy to work with by phone for any issues that came up.
The Agency Agreement is not a service lead contract, it is based upon the marketing and sale of the property which has taken place. The invoice was payable upon completion, and is still fully payable. My advice, refuse any negotiation and stick to your one communication of writing to request your deposit back within 10 days. If this doesn’t happen start your small claims or mydeposits dispute. Do not waste time negotiating with them they’ll screw you over trying to ware you down to accept unreasonable terms.

She wasn’t, they work and represent landlords only. By law you are entitled to any undisputed amounts in your deposit within 10 days. Countrywide do not tell you that and constantly fob you off. There are Facebook groups out there some with hundreds, some with thousands of enraged owners who will tell you the truth. I have owned a home on this park for over 2 years and I have never experienced such terrible service. All they have done since living here is demand money and ignore all of our communication.
This has led to disgruntled Hoseasons customers who have had their holidays cancelled at very short notice . Broken manhole cover, outside lights not working, dust inside the lodge that you could write your name in & a hot tub that was not working. We provided video evidence that the hot tub had a fault but Countrywide Homes ignored this.
Dreamlodge went into administration so Countrywide park homes took over .It has not taken no shape nothing has changed at all. They wanted to rent out our lodges but rip us off with fees etc. I own 7.0% of a lodge which was rented out after all there deductions with commission received very little back. Countrywide Home Loans has an overall rating of 2.9 out of 5, based on over 138 reviews left anonymously by employees. 46% of employees would recommend working at Countrywide Home Loans to a friend and 42% have a positive outlook for the business. This rating has improved by 6% over the last 12 months.
Their business practices were horrible. They lost paperwork, never let you speak with the same person to get anything done, and practiced what I believed to me illegal lending practices. You could never get the same answer from anyone. I was never so glad as to get away from this company. My contract with them was reviewed by a real estate attorney and found to have several clauses that were NOT legal.
Should you wish to purchase a lodge or caravan do a lot of research & investigate the site owner thoroughly. In my opinion you are better off buying bricks & mortar where you remain in control of your asset & how you choose to use it. The holiday lodge/caravan industry is unregulated therefor there is little to no consumer protection, which seems to be exploited by this company. Our life has changed, we have retired, have money in the bank and on an peaceful park with some great neighbours. It's president Claudio is arrogant and has no regards for the rule of law. The builder attempted to defraud every homeowner in Credit Manor Heights the interlocking walkway and kitchen faucet with spray.
Decor was rude and unprofessional, service from Angie was just plain rude, and nothing was ever resolved for us. Never ever dare to use / recommend this company and encourage those you know or heard of to create a group case to restrict this companies business activities. I stuck it out but they have wasted two months of mine and my solicitors time and energy trying to get this sale to work. Fulfords estate agents recommend them to both parties when selling a property.
Every single time I have had to call their office I have been spoken to by a rude and disrespectful member of staff, and my email correspondence has either been ignored or responded to with irrelevant information. They seem incapable of answering any questions we have any often divert. They do not value their residents whatsoever and I would steer clear of their sites. I am looking to move away as soon as possible. I have had other builder try to pin the blame on the owner when it comes to there poor quality, CWH is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. They are friendly, there build quality is excellent, and very responsive. From the sales experiance to the closing, then after the closing.
It just became over whelming, so we just stuck with a basic 30-year fixed mortgage and went from there. But they had different year loans as well as many options for interest rates and points. I am very satisfied with countrywide homes in Kleinburg, ontario. My closing was on schedule as promised. The sales office and project manager site personnel both very friendly and useful. I have read some negative comments on the website about this builder and I was worried, but my experience has been excellent, and I do recommend this builder.

I have no complaints and looking forward in purchasing another homes from them soon. Some reviews here seem fake, is Trump write these LOL!!!. If you are looking for a CWH just knock on the door of someone that owns one they will give positive feedback guaranteed. 46% of Countrywide Home Loans employees would recommend working there to a friend based on Glassdoor reviews. Customer Service Getting through to them was difficult. Never could get a single answer to a question. I would request a call back to get questions answered and wait for several days. Even hen there was no guarantee that your question or situation was going to be handled. Types/Options I was not surprised they were bought out, or that the former CEO was charged with crimes. Once all the costs & wear & tear have been taken into account most owners have actually lost money by renting & hence most have now withdrawn from Countrywide's rental scheme.
