Visit the lodge/site you are interested in & speak with other owners, be cheeky & knock on doors, most of us don't bite & will be honest with you.

Dreamlodge went into administration so Countrywide park homes took over .It has not taken no shape nothing has changed at all. They wanted to rent out our lodges but rip us off with fees etc. I own 7.0% of a lodge which was rented out after all there deductions with commission received very little back. Countrywide Homes refuse to speak to us over the phone & will only correspond via email, and only do this when I chase. Its been over a week since we reported the fault and they have yet to complete their 'investigation'. The park staff expect the maintenance person were rude & arrogant & the senior member of the company that we are currently dealing with has a condescending tone.

The invoice was payable upon completion, and is still fully payable. My advice, refuse any negotiation and stick to your one communication of writing to request your deposit back within 10 days. If this doesn’t happen start your small claims or mydeposits dispute. Do not waste time negotiating with them they’ll screw you over trying to ware you down to accept unreasonable terms.

I am near completing a house purchase from a seller who used Countrywide to do the conveyancing. We use dedicated people and clever technology to safeguard our platform. Companies can ask for reviews via automatic invitations. Labeled Verified, they’re about genuine experiences. I should like to remind the House of the names involved. It is important that people should recognise that this is a so-called family organisation.

The way that she automatically dismissed me was so uncalled for and was so degrading. These mortgage companies give you a glimmer of hope and then snatch it away. I can't imagine anyone ever giving this company a good rating.

If you're plannng on holidaying in one of these and booking via Hoseasons, be aware that many lodge owners who are renting their lodge to you through the park are being desperately exploited by the park. The money you pay to holiday there will line the pockets of Mr Barney and his wife. Think very carefully before parting any money to this "company". I spent my life savings buying a brand new lodge on a residential park.

Unfortunately the way they treat their resident owners comes up far short of most park owners. We are held to ransom on a numerous amount of issues with our lodge and they still refuse to compromise on a reasonable agreement with residents at our park. My advise is to stay clear of this park owner for your own sake. We bought a house and right after we signed, I'd when everything started to go wrong.

This has led to disgruntled Hoseasons customers who have had their holidays cancelled at very short notice . Broken manhole cover, outside lights not working, dust inside the lodge that you could write your name in & a hot tub that was not working. We provided video evidence that the hot tub had a fault but Countrywide Homes ignored this.

We spent £1500 on this experience, we would not recommend this place at all. We decided to look online and came across Countrywide Park Homes. Their website stated that they offered both residential park homes and luxury lodges, and that the residential ones were available with a part exchange option. They all looked really lovely so we arranged to go up to Dales View and have a look.

I’ve now been given another 2 further calls from them. Countrywide have a monopoly in respect of mortgage valuations. On two separate occasions they have valued a property at zero when the work needing doing is less than £5000. These types of companies strangle the economy and hold back genuine investors.

We went for their mortgage broker and couldn’t be happier as Gavin Campbell was super responsive and proactive. He always made sure to keep us updated and moved things quickly, I’d definitely recommend Gavin Campbell particular if you’re looking for a good mortgage broker. Failed delivery due to insufficient funds notification arrived Saturday, the day my dad died. Subsequently paid in case it was something important. Unrequested paperwork from Countrywide. Only gave 1 star because zero wasn't an option.

Dreamlodge went into administration so Countrywide park homes took over .It has not taken no shape nothing has changed at all. They wanted to rent out our lodges but rip us off with fees etc. I own 7.0% of a lodge which was rented out after all there deductions with commission received very little back. Avoid because once they have your payments set up you will never be able to speak to a human being again. I give below an extract from a 2009 debate in the Houses of Parliament regarding Park Home sites managed by the owner of Countrywide Park Homes. Nothing has changed - the respective Governments should be ashamed of themselves. 96% of the reviews given on the Trustpilot site are shown as "bad". It is time that those affected lobby Parliament to ensure that this behaviour is stopped. I went back and spoke to the sales lady Kelley about these reviews, she was honest and open and explained a few situations which now make sense, and I am happy to say I am now a happy park home owner.

Unfortunately, they were bought out by CitiMortgage and we had to use them instead of Countrywide. We were very disappointed to have Countrywide taken away as our regular mortgage holder because we really did feel a sense of comfort with them. We did adjust, but the new company just was not the same "feel". I would definitely recommend Countrywide, based on our experience in the past. Of course I have no idea what they are like now.
